2025 Celebration of the 150th Birthday of Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune
Bethune Legacy Festival
From 1998 to 2023, the town of Mayesville, SC and surrounding communities celebrated the legacy of Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune. The fun-filled weekend festivities included a parade, Gospel fest, kid zone, Bethune software experience, food vendors, musical performances, health education workshops, special appearances and more.
